In this privacy policy, we will refer to hibu Inc. using the terms ‘hibu’, ‘us’, ‘we’ and ‘our’. If we use the term ‘hibu Group’, this means us, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries. The term ‘our advertiser Services’ refers to any advertiser-focused websites, mobile applications and other products or services that we own or run from time to time. If you advertise with us or use any of our advertiser Services, we call you an ‘advertiser’ and this policy applies to you. If you use any of our services, we call you a ‘user’ and you should refer to our privacy policy for users.
We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This privacy policy is about the way we collect, use and process or otherwise handle the personally identifiable information (‘personal information’) of our advertisers, and it applies to information we collect when you use our advertiser Services, or when you otherwise interact with us.

To provide you with our products and advertiser Services that you order, we need information about you.
If you use our advertiser Services, you are in control of what information we collect about you, but if you choose not to share your information, you may not be able to access or use all or part of our advertiser Services.

We record and monitor calls for legal, security and training purposes and to improve the service we provide to you.
If you give us feedback, we may use it to improve our advertiser Services and we may publish it online or offline to promote our business, our advertiser Services, or our other products and services.
We offer you the chance to receive important news from hibu and information about our advertiser Services, or our other products and services, such as changes to the way you can use our advertiser Services and new products or services and special offers you might be interested in. Every now and again, we may ask you how we are performing or for your opinion on our advertiser Services, or our other products and services. When we do surveys, we may use cookies or other on-device storage and may combine the information collected by those cookies or other on-device storage with your answers. We will make sure that the survey results do not identify you, or anyone else who fills in our surveys.
To the extent permitted by law, if you are in the process of contracting for a product or service for which we need to evaluate your financial solvency (e.g., contracts that entail a deferred payment of the price or the provision of a service involving periodic billing), we may check your credit rating or credit score by consulting financial solvency files held by third parties. If you are registered on one of our advertiser Services, you can change your marketing preferences at any time by viewing and updating your account profile. You may request not to receive (i.e., "opt-out" of receiving) promotional email messages from us, by unchecking the checkbox beside the "I wish to receive updates and information" line on the account registration page. If you receive a marketing email message from us, you may click on the “Unsubscribe” link contained in that email to opt out of receiving similar email messages in the future. You may also opt out of receiving marketing materials by contacting our Customer Service Department at 1.800.YB.YELLOW.
If you tell us that you do not want to receive direct marketing, we reserve the right to contact you in order to confirm and carry out any requests or orders you make and for administration purposes.

With respect to sharing information with third parties that are working on our behalf, we first either ascertain that the third party subscribes to the Privacy Principles or is subject to the European Directive on Data Protection or another adequacy finding or enters into a written agreement with the third party requiring that the third party provide at least the same level of privacy protection as is required by the relevant Privacy Principles.
If you advertise with us, we may share any business address you give us with your customers on a case by case basis if there is a genuine consumer dispute, and/or to comply with legal process.
Every now and again, we receive requests for information from government agencies, the police and other enforcement agencies, or other third parties through subpoena or other valid legal process. If this happens, and there is a proper legal basis for providing information about you, we will provide it to the party asking for it.
We take the security of your personal information seriously. hibu takes reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.

You can ask to see information we hold about you, (with some exceptions). If you would like a copy of the information we have collected about you, you should contact our data privacy officer.
We limit our collection of information about you to that which is relevant for the intended business and legal purposes for which it is to be used. We do not use information about you in a way that is incompatible with the purposes for which it was collected or subsequently authorized by you. To the extent necessary for those purposes, we take steps to ensure that information about you is reliable for its intended use, accurate, complete and current.
You have the right to review and update your personal details. You can do this through the “My Business Center Account” section of our advertiser Services. We will delete your information at your request if it is not otherwise required to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes. Because of the way we maintain certain advertiser Services, after you delete your information, residual copies may take a period of time before they are deleted from our active servers and may remain in our backup systems.
We will ask you to identify yourself and the information requested to be accessed, corrected or removed before processing such requests, and we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup tapes), or for which access is not otherwise required.
We (a) provide procedures for verifying that our commitments to adhere to the Privacy Principles have been implemented; (b) undertake obligations to remedy problems arising out of a failure to comply with the Privacy Principles; and (c) provide independent recourse mechanisms so that each individual's complaints and concerns regarding our handling of information about you under the Safe Harbor Program can be investigated and resolved and damages awarded where the applicable law or private sector initiatives so provide.
